I created this course because so many parenting methods leave the mother out. They skip over her nervous system, her trauma, her need for support.

I get it - as mothers our time is so limited and unpredictable! The practices are designed to weave into your life as a mother. Each day is flexible and offers around 10–15 minutes of guided content, which you can break into smaller moments. Many of the reflections and somatic practices can also be done in just 5–10 minutes a day — while baby naps, on a walk, or before bed. Think of it less as “extra work” and more as creating tiny pauses of nourishment and nervous system support throughout your week.

You’ll have 12 months of access from the day you join. This gives you plenty of time to move through the practices and revisit them at a pace that honours your season of motherhood.

This is a self paced online course comprising 21 modules and bonus support material. Each session has both an audio for you to listen to and a written version below it for you to read.

Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to healing that recognises how stress, emotions, and even trauma live in the nervous system. Instead of only talking, it invites you to notice sensations, soften protective patterns, and return to presence — helping you feel more grounded and connected in motherhood.

Not at all. This course is designed for beginners and for mothers at any stage of their journey. Everything is guided step by step, with gentle invitations to explore your body, breath, and emotions in ways that feel safe and supportive.

All you need is an internet connection and a quiet(ish) corner where you can listen, watch, or practice. A journal is also ideal for the reflective prompts too however there is also a printable pdf journal for you to use too.

Motherhood is full and unpredictable. That’s why the course is self-paced. You can return to the practices whenever it feels right for you, and revisit them as often as you like within your 12-month access period. If you need more than 12 months simply reach out to me.

No. This isn’t about learning how to parent “better” it’s about coming home to yourself. Through somatic awareness, nervous system support, and mindfulness practices, you’ll rediscover a deeper sense of presence and connection. When you nurture yourself, your capacity to be with your children also expands.

I’m Lauren Howe, mother of twins and a somatic therapist. This course was born from my own lived experience of exhaustion, overwhelm, and transformation in early motherhood, and from my professional training in somatic therapy, mindfulness, embodiment, and ecotherapy. I’ve studied with the Leven Institute (SomaSoul® Somatic Therapy), the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness, Michaela Boehm (Non-Linear Movement Method®), and Eartheart Ecotherapy, among others. My work blends story, science, and somatic wisdom — grounded in both lived experience and professional training.
